Practice 4 – Accepting clarity

The most effective help you can accept from the nonphysical friends that always accompany you is assistance in distinguishing what you do want from what you don’t want. Clarity comes from accepting opportunities for healing that occur throughout your day.

When you feel a moment of disturbance, first acknowledge what you think is causing it:
I think I feel irritated because of this noise.

Then look beyond the illusion to which you cling:
I feel irritated because I think I want an illusion that brings pain and discomfort.

Acknowledge that help is always there for you, and accept the healing that is always available:
I accept the perception correction that brings clarity.

And now a moment for gratitude:
I am happy that I noticed how I felt because it reminds me to accept the clarity that is always there for me.

Clarity comes when you realize that every moment of disturbance is an opportunity to clear confusion. It truly has nothing to do with the world that seems to be outside of yourself. It is always an opportunity, and and opportunity for which you can be grateful.

Four steps, when you feel inclined to take some time to explore any disturbed feeling:

1. I think I am feeling _______________ because ____________________.

2. I feel ____________________ because I think I want an illusion that brings me pain and discomfort.

3. I accept the perception correction that brings clarity.

4. I am happy that I noticed how I feel because it reminds me to accept the clarity that is always there for me.
