Union

We wish to speak to you of the grossly misapplied energetics of union. We know this is a mouthful, and we know that the use of the term “energetics” is very easy to misinterpret. Let us say this: In your fantasy of time and space, there appear to be various moving parts, and there appear to be interactions between and among those moving parts. Let us say that “energetics” is applied to the way those parts seem to move. The words are not the thing, but the words point to the thing. The words help us guide.

Okay, so the “grossly misapplied energetics of union.” This is a commentary on what ego seems to do, and if you believe ego’s thoughts, what in turn you seem to do. You seem to look at each part of your world as if it is separate and as if it can have an effect on other parts of your world in and of itself. You also look at seeming other parts of your world and decide that those parts, in and of themselves, can seem to affect other parts.

Truly, every seeming part you see is held in the energy of harmony, and as soon as you give the go signal, all the seemingly separate parts can show you that. If you believe that they are all separate parts and that they must be judged positively or negatively in order for you to navigate your way through them, you do not allow them to achieve the same level as each other in harmony–a level at which the one song of the universe can be played through them. You give the go-ahead, and this is true for every “you” conceiving of itself as separate. No one is separate. All are held in harmony, and that harmony only needs the right signal to make itself apparent.

So let’s say that you have decided never to give the go-ahead signal to harmony. Let’s say that ego has invented its version of union, and you’re going to busy yourself holding up union as an ideal and deciding who has achieved it and how well, and who hasn’t achieved it. This is silliness that you eventually learn to drop. There is no union without everyone and everything in it. There is no union without all the seeming parts moving together. (You could also say “in stillness together.”)

Our point is this: The harmony is here and real, and it always will be. The union is here and real, and it always will be. When ego attempts to hijack either one of these ideas and make exceptions that exclude anyone or anything, you will feel it, and it’s good when you do. Then you can address the actual problem with Spirit.

Through a distortion, you see what is harmonious as if it is not so. Remember that it is the distortion that is the problem, and the distortion can be cleared up for you easily. You will laugh when you see how easily it is cleared and how unnecessary the distortion was.

You need to be instructed on your way through what seems to be energetic, thus our use of the term. There are no moving parts, yet they seem to be moving, so you need instructions that recognize that you perceive movement. These instructions are here, and they will make themselves obvious. Your experiences will show you.

There is a difference between an idea that you should not eat and an absence of an urge to eat. We use this example to show you that there is no need to plan or to struggle, to try to decide what should or shouldn’t happen. Simply keep doing the work you have been doing to meet any unloving thoughts with the light of love inside you, and the rest will make itself clear.

Slow and steady finishes at the same time that everyone else does. This is not a race. You are all walking each other Home. On your path, you will see that there is no need to delay any of the blessings that are coming for all of you. You will also see that there is no need to hurry or rush. Treat every moment like the beautiful gift that it is, and your path opens up in front of you. Recognize how much you are loved, and recognize how much all those you call other are loved. With this kind of support, it makes perfect sense that your path would be very clearly marked for all of you.
