Only a helper

God is not a punisher; only a helper. Whenever you feel any tension or stress, it is a sign that you see God (and therefore potentially everyone and everything) as a punisher instead of a helper. Punishers are the illusions, and helpers are the reality. To clarify, a helper in opposition to a punisher is still an illusion of opposition. But to see the helpful beingness of everything–this is Reality. You can ask to be brought back into this mode of seeing at any time, and feeling is your guide as to when to ask.

You would only set God up as a punisher if you are trying to cling to the fantasy you made. So again, if you feel any degree of tension or stress, it means that you believe that clinging to your fantasy will bring you happiness. You can reorient at any time to the remembrance that your happiness is prior to and beyond illusion. Your happiness is not caused by anything within the illusion. You have used the illusion to cover up your happiness, but you can also allow the light of your happiness (which is the happiness of everyone you call else) to shine through your illusion at any time. This is the benign and loving power you all share. As you begin to use this power, you share it with all, and all begin to use it.

The only thing God can threaten is unreality, because God shines through your haze of unreality. Once you see unreality as an unwanted haze, then here comes the light beaming forth. When you feel stress or tension, you believe that something within the fabric of the dream that you used to cover up love–that something within this dream can beam forth light from the dream. It cannot. The light is ever-present behind the dream, and you allow it to beam forth.

You are this light, and so is everyone you call other. Don’t look to the dream to see yourself or to see your divine sibling. Look through the dream, knowing that you all dwell together behind it. Look toward Home, not toward what you invented in order to forget Home.

When you feel any tension or stress, you have forgotten that God is everywhere and only a helper. It is the work of a moment to relax back into remembrance. When you relax back into remembrance, you invite all there with you.

All the power you have–and you have it always–is in your will joined with the true will of all. This power belongs to all now. The true will of all is happiness and peace for all. It doesn’t matter how anyone’s surface appears. Their true will, underneath any fear you may be projecting upon them, is for happiness and peace. If you can rest in the clarity of their true will, which is always joined with yours, here is the place from which to receive the inspired thought that guides your speech and action.

Give all to all. Give all the power you have to those who also have this power, and see this power shared. All have benign power, but they must be reminded. You can be the reminder because you can see it alive in them.

We bless you and we keep you. We guide you and we celebrate you. We assure you that all is well, and we remind you that all have a path to happiness right in front of them now.
