Ego doesn’t know anything about anything. It manufactures perception based on the thoughts you believe. When you feel troubled, remember that the cause is manufactured perception. It is never anything real, no matter how real it seems. Remember that there is a force with you, by your side, that can, as you allow it, show you goodness-without-opposite undistorted.
True knowing is all yours, and if it is truly yours, it is shared equally with all you call other. It rests in the heart and does not depend upon concepts. When you have a problem, it cannot come without concepts, without definitions and ideas and interpretations of what you look upon. There is something deeper than concepts.
Here is the heart, and there are no concepts in the heart. The heart is always a safe refuge in time of confusion. We do not speak of ego’s heart, which can be bruised and damaged. We speak of your eternal heart, that which unites all, a welcoming space of loveliness and quiet. This inner sanctum is always available to you all, and it is the starting place for the wiping away of distorted perception.
Your own resistance to love is the only problem you have. Ego may give it other disguises, but it is still the same one problem underneath. Ego says that every problem seemingly outside you is real and threatening, and ego completely ignores the vast inner sanctum of rest that is open to you now. Ego sends you on assignments to solve problems and uses the idea of limited time to direct you away from the rest that restores. We are here to tell you that the only purpose of time is to learn to relax quietly into the rest that restores sane perception.
Ego says you must work as a separate identity to solve problems. Ego says you are a person, and separate persons are responsible for separate problems. In truth, you’re a being, and you’re responsible for what you see. You have the opportunity to see pure being underneath and behind all the persons. The persons can distract you, and ego can provide you with judgments about what look like separate persons, but it is all meaningless. All true meaning lies in the shared being, and the heart doesn’t need to invent any concepts about that. The heart just knows.
Spirit is here to correct ego’s distorted perception. So whatever solution you seem to need, it is always here because Spirit is always here. Recognize that you and all always have the solutions you need right now, and you can relax into ease. As you relax into ease, you share this ease with all, and you help to make obvious the solutions everyone has. It is a truly beautiful sharing, and it is always yours to give, just by recognizing and appreciating what is Here.
