Peace under judgments

It seems that you bump up against edges in your mind, places that are not smooth, and these are judgments. Underneath these judgments, here is peace. Here is the peace and calm that you seek. You do not find peace and calm by running away from judgments. You see that peace and calm are right here when you look calmly upon judgments as they fade and disappear. Any judgment, examined closely, will eventually reveal itself to have no real substance. The peace and calm that you all Are–that is the reality that remains when you allow the illusion of the judgment to fade away.

You use judgments to build barricades against love, which would solve every problem. So if you hold this picture in your mind when you are upset, you can remind yourself that you are building a fence against help whenever you are upset. The solution is to stop your building and to wait in rest and calm. The help always comes. Remain dedicated to rest, and the help always comes.

The only problem you can have is your own barricade. As you learn to wait in stillness, you begin to see that the barricade was an illusion that was never truly there. You wait, and the illusion fades. The fading away of the illusion merely reveals Reality, in all its gentle power and love. There is nothing to fear here, and there is nothing to fear from fading illusions.

Neither the barricades nor what they protect (some form of disorder) is real. As you remember that Reality is shining beyond the illusions you have built, you also remember that Reality is safe, and it is happiness. You remember that illusions can never, ever bring happiness to anyone. This is how you become willing to allow the illusions to transform and then go. Simply trust that they will take the forms they are meant to take for the healing of all, and then they will go. You are not illusion, so you will remain when what is not Real is washed away.

When you see the barricades and the forms of disorder fading away, then only love is here. Love is the only thing that has ever been here; it’s just that you have a very active imagination that has layered illusion on top of that. As you see that there is no value or happiness in allowing this imagination to rage further, you allow it to calm. Calm is your nature, and it is the true nature of all you call other, no matter what illusion you have projected onto them from fear. Love doesn’t recognize fear, and love is always here.

We love you with a true love, not a love that will ever pass away, and we are always here for you and all.
