It’s okay to allow those you call other to experience their feelings. Your job is not to fix or even to respond in a way that ego calls ideal or helpful. Your job is to pay attention. If you feel any reactivity, their cry highlights your own, and this can be addressed now. As you practice finding those thoughts that block love, you can do so even in the midst of what seems to be intensity. To do this–to seem to put yourself first in this way–is to serve all.

Your idea of safety has been based upon a closed loop of repetition. Ego tells you that safety is a repetition of the past–something that you know and that seems familiar, a sense of control. Spirit shows you that safety is right here, right now for everyone. Find your willingness to be shown the nature of true safety that belongs equally to all, and you will allow the world to be used as a canvas upon which an accurate portrait of your shared innocence emerges. Wait and see. Allow Spirit to show you.

You can ask this: Could I allow something completely new and renewing to enter this experience? What is here and strong and present is benign. What was never here but seems to take fatal form dominates in this closed loop of repetition. See your loop opening up to what is truly helpful, and you allow a soft, unmistakable power–loving to everyone–to make itself obvious. The closed loop is torment, and the loving power is here to benefit everyone in ways you do not and do not have to understand.

Spirit will never leave you to wallow. Spirit is ever-present. Spirit is ever-present within and behind everyone and everything. When you learn to look toward Spirit in this way, Spirit’s presence is undeniable. Would Spirit harm anyone or anything? You set this game up to show you evidence of harm, but Spirit is here to unwind the game and to show you what is real in ways that you come to rely upon.

Underneath the question, “Why aren’t any changes happening?” is this thought: “I refuse to allow any changes to happen.” Find that rigidity. Find that torment. Find that insistence on the closed loop. Sit and rest for a while. Allow to be undone what was never truly done. All that waits is a kind power with the wisdom to set everything right.

We are happy to share with you this divine power that belongs to all. We know you will share it immediately to keep it.
