There is a great joy waiting under everything you think you see. If you are not attached to the surface of anything you think you see, then you are able to allow it to beam forth as it truly is for the benefit of all. Configuration. We ask you to consider this word, and then to consider that the fiction of a separate, cut-off identity couldn’t possibly know what configuration of form is required in every instant to usher you all through and out of your dream. A separate, cut-off identity cannot have knowing, but you can return to knowing.
That is why we emphasize willingness. Just be willing that everything be put right, and everything will be put right. It is as if you have noticed that you are in a very messy room, and you mistakenly believe that you must clean it up. This is not the case at all. You simply must allow the room to be cleaned up. It is all done for you. If it is done for you, it is done for all.
You can use this as a point of reorientation:
I believe that I see this, but I only think I see this.
Having believed it, you do see it, but you do not see anything real. As you allow the clean-up, you continue to see the unreal, but now the form the unreal takes points directly toward the real. Form truly can be used on behalf of all. You only have to allow it. Your faith and trust grow as you see the joyful results your willingness to see brings to all.
Instead of thinking that something real has to be made to go away, see it in these terms:
This does not have to continue to reappear.
You continue to remake and remake and remake what you see with thoughts you believe. If what you are seeing can instruct and inform you like a friend, then you can remember this:
This, what I am seeing, can just as easily show me what is real.
Ask to see what is real in every situation, and never believe the ego when it tries to tell you what is real. Your feeling will always tell you when you are listening to the wrong teacher. Your feeling is faithful when you know how to see it. See it as the call to reorient toward what is real, and feeling is always your friend.
When you are aware of the ego predicting gloom and doom, consider this:
Why couldn’t this situation be used instead to teach us all what is real?
There is every reason to allow every situation to be turned to this purpose.
God’s peace and joy are enough because they are all-powerful. God’s peace and joy are alive and ready with and behind everyone and everything at which you look. This is also true for history, for when you are looking into what you call the past. Everywhere, God’s peace and joy are alive and ready to extend. Again, your job is simply to allow. You were never put here to struggle.
You don’t have to ignore anyone, but you can pay more attention to who they Are than who they aren’t. Start in mind and allow all to extend from the purity and joy you find here. What you experience as the physical will take care of itself. We emphasize starting in mind because this is what paves the way for receiving the specific instructions that make your physical experience easy and joyful.
It seems that you have taken a bumpy, bumpy road to get here, doesn’t it? And now you can see clearly the means given you and therefore all to experience a smooth road ahead. We are here, and we walk with you. If you veer off course, we will remind you where to go.
