Love is untouched by hate. In the world of illusion, it seems the projection of hate (what isn’t real) blocks out what is real (love). But love is unopposed. And love is real. Learn to look toward what is untouched and untainted in everyone and everything, and you discover what you have been hiding from yourself.
Jesus is what can’t change about you. What is real about Jesus is the same as what is real about you and us. What is real about Jesus is the same as what is real about all you call other. Fear projected distorted and separate surfaces upon what is real. Do not be fooled by what fear projects. Rather, accept Jesus as representative of the real, and see what he would have you see. The illusion you made gets used to remind you of what is real. All you do is to allow it by not insisting that it is something else and something real.
You can feel the you that isn’t You, and that is what feeling is for–to detect where you have used thought to manufacture the you that isn’t You. You have no need of this burden. Feeling does not mean that anything has gone wrong. It always means that you have an opportunity. As you say yes to these opportunities, a path opens up to a You in which you can rest at all times. You eventually learn that you would never leave this shared and joined You to go seek the illusion of stimulation from something unreal.
Think of a child drawing a very disordered picture, and then that disordered picture transforming into a peaceful picture. When you are feeling not-good, you are gazing upon the disordered picture drawn by you–the child under the burdensome influence of ego’s stimulant of reactivity. There is something very here and present–present within and behind everything you seem to see in that picture. As you acknowledge this presence and put it in charge, you give permission to allow the transformation in the picture. Where once there seemed to be chaos and destruction, now there is order and light. Your job is to allow the correction, to allow the transformation.
What you truly are doesn’t react, but it is aware. Rest in the rootedness of what you truly are with all today. It is always here, fully accessible to you and all, as you forget and wander away. As you insist upon staying rooted in what you are with all, ego will throw out all the lures that worked before. Your job is simply to say no. Nothing is worse than it was before. This is just you starting to go in the direction of ego, feeling how awful that feels, and then recovering from your confusion.
You have full assistance in your decision to remain rooted in your right mind. As you stay where you are here at home, it will be far easier to see the essential nature of all your divine siblings. Although we can see why it may feel like a time of turmoil as ego throws out its deepest lures, we can see easily how this is a time of rest and celebration for you all.
