Wherever you believe yourself to be, you can serve. There is always a way for you to be useful and helpful, and that way can be made clear to you–not through your own analysis, but through the gift of inspiration. The more you are able to remove your focus from the idea of controlling and managing, the more you will be able to allow clear, obvious thoughts from Spirit to reach you.
Your guidance may be to work in mind with someone or something rather than to take physical action. Either way, you’re going to know. It will be clear. If you find yourself in a space where it seems nothing is being made clear and obvious to you, then it is time to devote your attention and efforts toward looking within consistently. When your attention is focused outward in the belief that it is possible to analyze and plan, you forget that inspiration is always right here for you.
As you allow ego to be exposed to you, it seems horrific. This is a good time to remember its nothingness. At the point of highest and most intense reactivity to anyone or anything, remember that the reactivity itself is an illusion from ego. The reactivity is an indicator that you have looked upon one of ego’s many forms of nothingness, believing it to be real. The ego will give you many thoughts that judge illusions, but none of them has validity. It is possible to look consistently past all of ego’s distractions to what is actually here, what can actually solve problems.
What seems to be so big and so real can wash away as if it had never been. Ego can make illusions seem big or small, important or not important, powerful or weak, beautiful or repulsive. None of this matters. What matters is your ability to look past the illusions to the truth of what you are with all others, to the light always shining behind all of them. As you learn to focus steadily here, then illusion is naturally used by what you are to remind you of what you are with all forever.
Your challenge and opportunity today is to remember that behind the video game overlay, there truly is nothing but peace anywhere you look. Lean on this peace. Remember this peace. Look toward this peace. Put this peace in charge, and you will begin to experience reflections of this peace everywhere. There is no longer any need to experience reflections of the strife and turmoil that never existed in the first place. Allow what was invented for contrast to be used to remind all of wholeness, and you can see that you and all are in very good hands.
You truly are safe paying more attention to your wholeness than to your video game. Trust that your attention will land exactly where it is needed, exactly when it is needed. We are always here to help as you allow it.
