Accept what works

Everyone presents you with nothing but opportunities. Be aware of how the energy feels, and then accept your opportunities. This may seem easier to address at first when an interaction is in the past rather than ongoing. With practice, you will be able to address your opportunities moment-by-moment.

In social interaction, you experience a social self that is a defense. How to say yes to your opportunities for healing when you are busy maintaining the shield of your social self? It is not possible. This is an opportunity to learn how to be shields-down wherever you seem to be.

In order to help someone, you need to allow yourself to be helped. No one helps anyone alone. In truth, all are helped by the Spirit that unites all. Shields and defenses block the guidance that is here for everyone together. The discomfort of holding a shield in place is a simple signal that defense is unnecessary. The impracticality of straining to maintain a defense becomes clear, and then it drops away.

As you move through your day, you can be shown how to set down what doesn’t work and how to accept what does work. Have faith. Even if your way of doing seems very entrenched, this is no challenge to Spirit. Spirit knows you very well and flows in anywhere you leave your separate self undefended. This is why it is said that Spirit does through you.

There’s the masquerading, and then here’s the reality. Anything you look upon with any degree of tension or stress is a masquerade. Directly beneath the masquerade and all its seeming separate elements is the unity that is here to serve all. There is nothing that your unity cannot do for you all. Simply allow it to extend, heal, and transform as it best serves all together.

There is no need to experience the effects that ego predicts. Remember this when you become aware of ego predicting a negative consequence. The negative consequence roots you in the perceived cause and effect of time, giving time a power it never had. The miracle is here to show you the loving power that is present for everyone right now. Like you, the miracle is not timebound, not bound by any perceived limits of space. Like the miracle, you and all are unlimited. The miracle simply reminds you of who you all are, and the miracle is here in every moment. Turn consistently to what can show you all how free you are, and remember that a masquerade cannot hold you back.

Here you are, shining as the miracle you are. Here all are, shining in the equality you share, forever unlimited. Look here toward the truth of you, and allow everything to unfold from here.
