Spirit meets with you where you believe you are and leads you gently on your way. It’s okay that you believe you are where you aren’t. Your part is simply releasing the need to cling to any particular belief, to know that you don’t know, and to allow yourself to be led. If you remain still and allow Spirit to meet you, then you always have a very wise guide. Whenever you seem to lose your guide, you only have to sit still and wait, and then your guide will reappear.
A form of nothingness is not upsetting, but believing a form of nothingness is real leads to another form of nothingness–the upset. So take this very slowly–any feeling of disturbance is in itself a form of nothingness. Take a moment to see right through anything that seems to appear here, anything that seems to arise in you. When you feel upset, the thing ego would pinpoint as upsetting is itself an illusion. Have the patience to remain still and to remember that the light shines behind all symbols, no matter how they appear. See this gentle, warm light reaching you, holding you, and guiding you.
You don’t have to believe anything that would separate you from your divine siblings. You are always united in innocence. It’s okay if you seem to need to take time and quiet space to truly settle into the reality of this. As you practice in your quiet space, you will be able to bring this awareness with you wherever you go, to keep it clear in your mind, and to follow its guidance in any situation. You always have something beautiful to share, and your practicing helps you remember how to share it.
Think of yourself being led by the hand through everything. Think of yourself as being in need of one thing–guidance. And think of this guidance as being eternally here and never leaving you. What is there left to do but follow it? And remember that stress and tension are a sign of your attempting to be in charge through a separate self. This will never get more comfortable. In fact, this attempt will become less and less comfortable. The full relief of the guidance that is always here for you is here right now. As it is here for you, it is here for all.
Seen without the Halloween costume, a being is just a being. You’re just a being. They are just beings. No one needs any special qualities in this moment. All the true and beautiful qualities are shared. Looking here allows you to release all into the special roles they play here in time and space. Each one is assigned a special role in time and space because each one can be helpful to the whole in particular ways. You simply get to find out what your way is today. As you carry out the role assigned to you, your divine siblings hear that same call to put distractions down and follow the role they can play for all. Moment by moment, each of you finds out what your role is. As you learn to trust, your faith in all expands.
Something truly beautiful is here for you all. It is our delight to illuminate it and to guide you toward the rest that allows it.
