Here’s the good news when you are going through a period of intensity:
The reason you are feeling things are unbearable is that you are allowing yourself to feel the effects of your judgments at a deeper level.
Now aware of the pain attached to the various forms of personal judgment with which you have been working, there is no way you can continue to engage in those forms of judgment as part of your day-to-day life. It is simply too clear that they hurt. It’s obvious. Be glad this is obvious to you now.
When you turn to those forms of judgment and self-judgment as a habit, as a way of finding happiness, at first you feel unbearable pain. When you turn to them again just out of reliance on old patterns, you realize you’ve fallen into habit and automatically correct course. The way is clear for the next healing.
Your emotions work for you in the absence of judgment. Take a moment to appreciate the release and the learning.
